FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS . . . .

How soon should I schedule my appointment?
Please call us to schedule an appointment with our designer 2 to 6 months before your wedding date, and at least a few days before the day you would like to come in.

What Should I expect at the appointment?
An average consultation will last about 30 minutes to one hour.  We would like to know from you your vision or concept for the event, the style and color of your dress and of your wedding party, the number of attendants, flower girls, ushers, etc., the location, time and date of the ceremony and reception sites, and what floral styles you like.  Please bring magazine pictures of your favorite flowers and bouquet styles, and flowers you dislike, the services you want us to provide such as delivery, set-up, etc., and most importantly, your budget.

Do you offer do-it-yourself options? . . . .

Yes.  If you prefer to do your wedding flowers by yourself, we can help you in three ways:
  • 1. We can get your flowers for you.
  • 2.  We can arrange the flowers you obtained from your own supplier.
  • 3.  We can teach you and your friends how to make wedding bouquets.
There are many websites that claim to offer flowers to brides at steep discounts.  As an unexperienced flower buyer, you need to beware.  One of the common disappointments in wedding flowers is that a bride didn't get the exact flowers she had been promised, or that the flowers didn't last.  We know how to buy flowers that will last, and how to properly process them.  We can tell you how likely you are to get the flowers you are looking for, and can also offer alternatives that are available.  If you do have access to quality flowers, but don't have anyone to arrange the flowers for you, we can still help.  We can accept the delivery of the flowers, process the flowers, and either store the flowers for you, or make the arrangements with your own flowers.

Want to learn how to make your own wedding flowers and make them yourself ?   No problem!  We can even teach you and your family and friends how to make the arrangements yourselves!   Simply bring us a picture of the final product, and we will provide you with quotes for any of our do-it-yourself services.

Who wears flowers?
Corsages are worn for mothers, grandmothers, personal attendants, readers, musicians, and hostesses. Mothers can carry a small nosegay or flowers on a purse.  Corsages are either worn as a bracelet or pinned.
Boutonnieres for groom and groomsmen, ushers, ring bearers, fathers and grandfathers.  They are also often chosen for readers, musicians, escorts, godfathers, or other family members.
